13F · Q2 2026 · portfolios as of June 30, 2026
The stocks hedge funds bought the most
It counts hedge funds and other concentrated managers that file a 13F: those who opened the position minus those who exited. It does not measure dollars.
In Q2 2026, the stock most managers added was Advanced Micro Devices (AMD): it went from 54 to 79 concentrated managers' portfolios (+25). Among those who already held it, 5 added and 30 trimmed. Next came Intel (INTC, +23) and Micron Technology (MU, +21). It counts managers, not dollars or shares. The figures come from the 13F filings of 703 concentrated managers, with portfolios as of June 30, 2026.

The 20 stocks most managers added in Q2 2026
The big number is the net change in how many concentrated managers hold the stock (opened minus exited), and below it, from how many to how many. Not dollars or shares; each row also shows what those who already held it did.

Another measure: the largest net dollar flows
Shares concentrated managers added minus those they cut, valued at the 13F quarter-end implied price, not each trade's price. It is not the list above in another order: a stock can gain managers and still have a negative flow.

How it is calculated
What a 13F is. The form on which managers running more than US$ 100 million disclose their US stock positions to the SEC, four times a year. It is filed up to 45 days after each quarter ends. More about the 13F.
Who the concentrated managers are. Of everyone filing a 13F, only concentrated managers are counted here: 703 with a portfolio this quarter. The group is defined by the shape of the portfolio (5 to 100 stocks, at least 45% in the top 10 positions and low turnover), not by size, fame or results: it includes small firms and filers with an unverified type, and each one weighs the same. Operating companies, banks, foundations, pension funds and private equity are left out when a document tells us so. See the methodology.
How it is counted. For each stock we count how many concentrated managers held it at the end of the previous quarter and how many at the end of this one; the order is by the difference. “Opened”: they did not hold it and now do; “exited”: they sold it entirely. “No comparable data”: managers whose previous portfolio cannot be compared (first 13F, or they did not file), plus spin-offs and corporate exits. Opened − exited ± no comparable data always equals the difference shown. What it does not measure: not dollars, shares or the size of each purchase (a 0.1% position counts the same as a 20% one). A stock can rank first with more new holders while most of those who already held it are trimming. They are commonly called “most bought” and “most sold”; here they are named after what they count.
It is a snapshot of a quarter that has already closed. Portfolios are as of June 30, 2026 and became public up to August 14, 2026, the filing deadline. They may have changed since. A 13F does not include short positions, bonds, cash or stocks not listed in the United States.
